Terms of use
The rules for using SnapMila, for photographers and for the guests they share galleries with.
Last updated 9 October 2026
1. Agreeing to these terms
SnapMila is provided by Bijay Kanshi, Ratu, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. By using the SnapMila app, the website or a guest gallery, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use SnapMila.
2. Photographer accounts
- You sign in with Google or Apple. Keep that account, and each event's camera password, to yourself.
- You are responsible for what is uploaded and shared through your account and your events.
- You must be 18 or older to create a photographer account.
3. Your photos stay yours
You keep all rights in the photos you send to SnapMila. You allow us to store them, make smaller copies for browsing, and show and deliver them to people who open your event's gallery — only to run SnapMila for you, and only until you hide the photo or delete your account.
You confirm that you have the right to upload and share each photo, including any permission the law requires from the people in it and from your client.
4. Guests
- You may view a gallery that was shared with you and save its photos for your own personal use.
- The photos belong to the photographer. Do not sell them, use them commercially, or republish them in ways the photographer or the people in them would object to, without the photographer's permission.
- Do not try to open galleries that were not shared with you, for example by guessing codes.
5. Galleries are unlisted, not secret
Anyone who has an event's QR code or link can open its gallery and save its photos. Galleries are kept out of search engines, but a link can be forwarded. Do not use SnapMila for photos that must stay confidential.
6. Things you must not do
- Upload anything illegal, or anything you do not have the right to share.
- Use SnapMila to harass, exploit or harm anyone.
- Attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its limits.
- Resell or rebrand SnapMila without our written permission.
We may hide or remove content, or suspend an account, that breaks these terms or the law. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why.
7. Price
SnapMila is free while it is in beta. If paid plans are introduced, their prices will be published on this website and shown in the app before any charge applies.
8. How the service works, and its limits
Photos travel from your camera over the venue's Wi-Fi or your hotspot, so transfers can be slow or cut off. SnapMila asks the camera to resend interrupted files and names any gaps in your file numbers, but keep your camera's memory card as the master copy of every shoot. We work to keep SnapMila running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.
9. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time — see Delete your account. This deletes your events, their photos and your sign-in, and every guest link stops working. Copies guests have already saved stay on their devices.
10. Responsibility
SnapMila is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, Bijay Kanshi is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for photos lost because a camera, card or network failed. [Liability cap and any consumer rights that cannot be excluded — to be reviewed by a lawyer.]
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and tell photographers in the app or by e-mail before a significant change takes effect. Using SnapMila after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are heard by the courts at Ranchi, Jharkhand.
